Meet Alice, HR Generalist at Sublime

Hi, can you say a few words about you?

I’m Alice (surprise) and I’m 26 years old. I live in Paris suburb so I can enjoy both the Parisian life and the possibility to run without breathing carbon. When I was younger, I wanted to study archeology, and volcanology. I also aspired to become President, but then I found out that an HR career would be more peaceful (laughs), so I started to study Labour Law and then HR & Communication. I love the aviation sector so I did my apprenticeship within Air France, and then I joined the Sublime Adventure and discovered the Adtech world. Besides planes I love doing sport (especially when I can practice them in nature, like climbing, diving, biking, running…) and watching rugby with my father.

Can you tell us about your position at Sublime?

I was hired to build new processes and tools together with the HR Director and the Payroll and Personnel Administrator. As an HR Generalist, I am in charge of the recruitment for all of our offices. I also manage several projects such as the Appraisal Campaign, Remote, and the Employer Brand.

What do you like best about your job?

Building new processes, implementing new tools… thinking and looking for information to create things from scratch. I also enjoy recruiting, especially leading interviews and learning things from candidates. I had no knowledge of the Ad tech industry when I joined the company, so I learnt a lot. HR is a very transversal function, so I have the opportunity to be in contact with all departments, learn something from them and find new interests that I didn’t expect when I started at Sublime.

Your best memory at Sublime?

I think my best memory is when I decided to organize a trip in Cambodia with one of my colleagues. The fun fact is we decided it only four months after I met her, during the Summer Party with a drink of wine in my hand. And it was one of the best trips I did!

Besides that I have a lot of habits that I really enjoy at work, such as doing Crosswords during lunch time, doing yoga with my colleagues, drinking my morning tea with my tea-mate, reading horoscope, having lunch with my team… Each time it creates a good memory. 😊

Something your colleagues might not know about you?

I am so clumsy and absent-minded that for my last birthday, my mother looked at me and said “Sometimes I’m surprised and impressed that you are still alive and in good health”.

And to conclude, something you would like to say to potential candidates who might be interested in joining the Sublime family?

For me, “Sublime family” are not some pretty words. Behind that there is a real kindness in the way we work, and strong links between people.
